I ghostwrite books about complex topics, specializing in the healthcare industry and healthcare information technology.
Over the course of my career I have written about subjects ranging from revenue cycle management to cybersecurity to complexity-fit leadership. I love diving into challenging subjects and translating expert insight into engaging, accessible content. Interviewing subject matter experts (SMEs) is one of my favorite parts of the job.
Before focusing on ghostwriting books, I wrote B2B content—including white papers, case studies, articles, and blog posts—for companies like AWS, Microsoft, and IBM. I also have a strong background in grant writing for higher education, having written $24.8 million in funded grants for institutions such as Polytechnic University (now NYU Tandon), Delta State University (MS), the University of Bridgeport (CT), Ocean County College (NJ), Mt. Hood Community College (OR), Lake Superior College (MN) and others.
My bylined work has appeared in Healthcare IT News, Energy Pipeline, Weight Watchers® Magazine, The Denver Post, San Francisco Chronicle, Sacramento Bee and other outlets.
I’m a lifelong learner. In 2014, I earned a certificate in Healthcare Information Technology from the University of California, San Diego Extension. In 2016 I completed a college program in nonfiction ghostwriting.
In 2017, my first ghostwritten book—on a healthcare industry topic—was published. It gained strong traction, earning dozens of media mentions and hundreds of Google results. Within six months, the author had booked over 30 speaking engagements, addressed thousands of event attendees, and generated more than 400 leads for his organization.
Since then, I’ve ghostwritten or coached many more books on healthcare-related topics.
When I am not writing, I’m dancing. I’ve studied ballet, ballroom dance, belly dance, clogging, country swing, improvisation, square dancing, jazz and tap. I performed for several years with Sacramento’s Sutter’s Stompers and later founded the Cottonwood Cloggers in Colorado. These days, you’ll still find me on the dance floor—any style, any time.
I live in Colorado and delight in the wit, wisdom and tech-savvy brilliance of my two grown children.
